Using advanced technologies and many years of experiencework in the field of home appliances, LG has created a smart garden Tiiun (from Korean - "sprout"). A smart garden allows its owners to grow fresh greens all year round in a city apartment or office.

A full virtual demo of the LG tiiun and LG tiiun mini home garden devices will be held at the LG digital booth at CES 2022 starting January 5.

Designed as a fully self-contained unit by LGtiiun has two shelves, each of which can hold up to six sets of all-in-one seeds, as well as three different sets of seeds. Each seed block contains 10 seed germination holes, and users can grow different types of greens at the same time for a quality product in just four to eight weeks.

Control of temperature and humidity parametersperformed automatically using standard sensors and algorithms that LG already uses in household refrigerators. The plant lighting system uses a natural day and night pattern. In addition, special sensors and fans regulate the constant air circulation.

The application is used to control the system.LG ThinQ, which allows you to adjust various parameters to optimize the plant growth process. The owner of the smart garden will be informed that the water tank for irrigation is empty.

The automatic system irrigates the plants 8 times a day. In the Korean market, the first LG tiiun home gardens sold in October for the equivalent of $ 1,250.
