It seems that the new gaming tariff from Tele2 looks like a great reason to throw a gamepad into your backpack so that you always have

at hand. Probably, this is exactly what marketers reasoned when they started a collaboration with the cloud gaming service GFN.Ru.

Cloud gaming in Russia, despite criticism anddisbelief, has occupied its small but confident niche and continues to develop. So, according to available data, the monthly active audience of the GFN service is in the region of 100-120 thousand people. GFN is the market leader. Plus there are several other players. But they are less popular due to less advanced infrastructure and, as a result, higher prices. For example, if an unlimited month of GFN.RU costs 1,499 rubles, then the same LoudPlay offers 25 hours for 1,000 rubles.

GFN.RU, using large reserves of capacity, is actively collaborating with many providers. For example, when Beeline tried his hand at cloud gaming, he launched his service at the facilities of GFN.RU. GFN also works closely with Internet providers. Home Internet subscribers from Rostelecom could connect at a special price to the service from their personal account. And since Rostelecom is the owner of Tele2, it was only a matter of time before the mobile operator would have interesting options.

At the same time, I would like to note that it is Tele2 that seems to have the most interesting cooperation for users with GFN.RU, since there is an opportunity to save money.

Formally cloud gaming offerings fromoperators do not provide much benefit to users, as they expect to pay exactly the same price as indicated on the official website. If you go head-on, then both MTS and Tele2 simply offer the official price of 1,499 rubles. MegaFon has moved a little further in this matter, offering subscribers of the No Overpayments line a promotional code of 50% for the first two months of subscription, in the next six months the discount will be 25%. Thus, a year of subscription will cost 14,240 rubles instead of the standard 17,988, that is, the total annual discount will be 20.8%

Both MTS and Tele2 by default offer to pay the same price as on the official website.

But the most interesting option is still the optionfrom Tele2, which implies the ability to reduce the subscription price to 999 rubles, provided that you connect to the Game tariff, that is, you get a 33.3% discount per month, and the price for the year will be 11,988 rubles.

The price looked as if the Yandex.Plus subscription price had simply been added to the tariff.

In the case of GFN, the same story, whenit is proposed to purchase a subscription at the same price as on the official website. I played a little in the MegaFon promotion. However, the optimal product of cooperation should be similar to what Tele2 did. The user receives a significant discount, which remains with him.

Beeline its tariff "Close people with Yandex Plus" is notremoved, but, on the contrary, continues to promote. So there is some progress. I would like to believe that Tele2's gaming tariff will also go uphill. And the operators, seeing the traction, will offer more options. This would be quite appropriate, given that completely unlimited internet tariffs have disappeared from the market.
