Coming soon: Honor 20S on Kirin 810

Huawei has expanded representationthe new HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset: a fifth smartphone has been added to the four existing models on this processor. More precisely, tomorrow will be added: officially Honor 20S will be released on September 4.

HiSilicon Kirin 810 is a mid-level chipset, butwith its own characteristics. By betting on mobile photography, Huawei attaches great importance to the capabilities of software for processing images using artificial intelligence, which requires a powerful neural module. HiSilicon Kirin 810 has such, and is so advanced that in performance tests it is often ahead of flagship solutions. At the moment, one of such ratings is headed by Honor 20S, which scored 35130 points in the test and overtook ASUS ROG Phone 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and a number of other eminent devices.

Based on data already published by the company, andalso materials of the TENAA website, you can get a fairly complete picture of the specifications of the new Honor 20S. It seems that the model is based on the Honor 20 - the same dimensions, the same screen size (6.26 ″), the same cutout for the “hollow” type camera, and the same battery with a capacity of 3750 mAh. The fingerprint scanner is also integrated into the power button on the side. Supports GPU Turbo 3.0 technology.

But there are differences.

First of all, this is the already mentioned chipset.HiSilicon Kirin 810. The RAM capacity of the model is 6 GB or 8 GB, the drive in both cases is 128 GB. TENAA mentions a variation with 12 GB of RAM, but this may be a mistake.

The battery supports fast back up, but not 22.5 watts, like the Honor 20, but 20 watts. It's not bad too.

The selfie camera did not change, it remained32 megapixel. In the set of cameras on the rear panel, the changes are thorough. The leading motor module is 48 MP, as it was. A wide-angle module instead of 16 MP - 8 MP. There is no 2 megapixel macro camera at all. The third is the eye of the frame depth sensor, resolution 2 MP.

The smartphone received three color options and two modifications that differ in memory size. Prices will be announced on September 4th.
