2023 Honda Accord Touring Will Use Android Automotive-Based Infotainment System

Honda will offer its customers an updated version of the 2023 Honda Accord Touring, which will

used infotainmenta system based on Android Automotive, a special operating system for cars from Google. It will be the first Honda car to use this operating system. There is currently no word on whether Honda plans to roll out Android Automotive to the rest of its vehicles. The integration of Android Automotive into the car's infotainment system will allow car owners to install applications for Android on their own, and there will also be the possibility of their further operational updates over the air in OTA mode. It is stated that sales of the updated Honda Accord will begin early next year. Using Android Automotive will allow the owner of the car to control many settings using the Google Assistant voice assistant, including climate control settings and other parameters.
