Immediately after the release of the Galaxy S10, usersvividly became interested not only in the strength characteristics of the smartphone, but also in the capabilities of the facial recognition system. And although Samsung developers had previously reported that this feature does not have a high degree of reliability, since it uses a conventional front camera and corresponding software, buyers hoped to see significant changes in this aspect of the Galaxy flagships.
But, as it turned out, in vain. The new Samsung Galaxy S10 has one of the drawbacks of the previous models - an unreliable face recognition system, which can be easily circumvented with photos, videos, or just similar people. So, experts from The Verge and blogger Lewis Hilsenteger managed to get around the technology using video on another smartphone. It is characteristic that the screen of the second smartphone was very dirty and was not cleared specifically for testing. Italian enthusiasts from SmartWorld walked around the system with a photo displayed on another smartphone.
However, this is not good news for the Galaxy S10don't end there. The girl from China, Jane Manchun Wong, was able to unlock her brother's Galaxy S10 + by simply holding the smartphone to her face, while even closing her eyes. The system could not notice the difference between brother and sister.

Galaxy S10 users should be carefultreat blocking with imperfect facial recognition technology. At the same time, the Galaxy S10 ultrasonic fingerprint identifier demonstrates high reliability.
