MyOffice asks the state for funds to upgrade its software to the level of Microsoft software products

The company-developer of the domestic office suite "MyOffice", ICC "Office Software", requested

state funds to finalize their software tolevel of Microsoft Office software products. The developer asks for grants in the amount of 1.7 billion rubles. Among the customers of the MyOffice software are such large state-owned companies as Rosatom, Russian Railways and a number of others. The MyOffice developer believes that in the face of confrontation, the use of Microsoft products threatens the domestic economy. At the same time, experts believe that in modern conditions the threat of macro viruses does not pose a serious danger, and for users of office suites, it is important not to comply with specific software, but to comply with broader standards and uniform principles for easy transition between different tools.
