Dongfeng showcases Lantu Chasing Light luxury electric sedan

A subsidiary of Chinese automaker Dongfeng, Lantu Automotive, unveiled a luxury electric sedan

Lantu Chasing Light.The car will be offered to buyers at prices ranging from 322,900 yuan ($46,300) to 432,900 yuan ($62,000). In the flagship version, the novelty received a battery with a capacity of 109 kWh, which, according to the manufacturer, will provide up to 730 kilometers on a full charge. The power plant of such an electric car produces 375 kW of power, which provides the car with a torque of 730 Nm and makes it possible to accelerate to “hundreds” in 3.8 seconds. The manufacturer claims that 19 minutes of fast charging is enough to drive 230 kilometers. The interior of the sedan has three 12.3-inch screens combined into one canvas of the infotainment system. Lantu Chasing Light has 12 cameras, 5 radars and 31 sensors, 12 ultrasonic radars and 2 high-precision positioning units to help the driver in various situations.
