The press service clarified that the responsibility forthe incident lies with the IT partner of the operator, who was attacked by hackers. Tele2 stressed that the fact of an internal leak is completely excluded, the operator's own systems are reliably protected. “We apologize to subscribers for the current situation and promise to strengthen control over data in the potential access loop of less secure contractors,” the operator’s press service added.
