Announcement. Vivo Y75 4G with a couple of namesakes and a strong front camera

In India, a smartphone with a sophisticated front camera named Vivo Y75 has appeared on sale.

To begin with, as usual, we unravel the confusion.

  • On our site, for now, I will call this smartphone Vivo Y75 4G (and hope that I do not have to rename it to Vivo Y75 4G India).
  • There is a namesake Vivo Y75 5G. Also sold in India and even costs about the same. But in terms of filling, this is a completely different device.
  • And there is also an ancient model Vivo Y75 2017. It was once sold in China. And, of course, search engines are well aware of it.

Well, who does our Vivo Y75 4G look like the most,so this is for last year's Vivo V23e 4G. The cameras are slightly different, but otherwise the characteristics are the same. And the look is similar. Although the colors are different.

About the characteristics.

Let's start with cameras.Of particular interest is the frontal. Resolution as much as 44 MP. Plus there is autofocus. Formally, the name of the sensor is not called. In fact, I know of only one single sensor of this resolution, this is the Samsung ISOCELL GH1. We love Vivo dearly. Plus, it is he who is in the front cameras of the top Samsungs - S20 Ultra, S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra.

The set of rear cameras is standard. 50+8+2 MP.Main, wide-angle, macro. There is no optical stabilization. Which sensor is used is not reported. Most likely, the good old Samsung ISOCELL JN1, but this is just a guess.

(For Vivo V23e 4G, the front camera has a resolution of 50 MP and is also equipped with autofocus. The main rear camera is 64 MP. The performance characteristics of the other cameras are the same).

Iron stuffing of the middle level.A year old MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. As you might guess, it lacks support for 5G networks. In AnTuTu we are waiting for around 300-350 thousand points. Quiet mid-level without frills.

Lots of RAM - 8 GB. They weren't too greedy with the constant - 128 GB. There is support for memory cards, but the tray is hybrid.

The screen does not have an increased refresh rate, but AMOLED, so the fingerprint scanner was stuffed under it. Diagonal 6.44 ″ (100 cm²), high resolution - 1080 × 2400 (409 ppi).

The battery is not too big by modern standards, only 4050 mAh. But charging is fast, 44 watts.

Apparently, there is no NFC module. There is also no standard audio output.

The price at the start of sales is ₹20,999 (₽16,900, $271).

For comparison, Vivo V23e 4G can now be bought in Russia for ₽26,990 ($433). For example, in DNS or MegaFon.
