Vivo is quietly continuing its clone war. An inexpensive smartphone called Vivo Y20a has appeared on sale in India.

Vivo Y20a is very similar to Vivo Y20, Vivo Y20 2021,Vivo Y20i, Vivo Y20s, Vivo Y30 China, Vivo Y12s and some other smartphones. The main difference is in the chipset. This is, suddenly, the ancient and not very popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 - 2018, only about 90 thousand AnTuTu points.

First, several smartphones are announced ona low-power, but modern Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset (140 thousand AnTuTu points). One of them, Vivo Y20, is also on sale in Russia (₽13,990 ($ 189) for 4 + 64 GB).

Then, all of a sudden, similar devices appear, but already on MediaTek Helio P35 (2018, 105 thousand AnTuTu points). In particular, this is the Vivo Y20 2021.

And now even less powerful hardware has gone into action.

If you do not pay attention to the strange manipulations with iron, then for all other characteristics Vivo Y20a looks like a very reasonable smartphone. Inexpensive, imperfect, but reasonable.

Normal amount of memory.3 GB operational, 64 GB constant. Capacious battery - 5000 mAh. Charging is, however, not very fast - only 10 watts. The screen is large, 6.51 ″. The resolution is not the highest, 720 × 1600. But it still gives 270 ppi - not so bad.

The cameras are modest. Frontal 8 megapixels. Behind the trio 13 + 2 + 2 MP - the main module, depth sensor, macro.

There is no NFC, USB is an ancient Micro. But Wi-Fi is dual-band and there is a fingerprint scanner (on the side).
