Announcement. Vivo Y03 is a simple Indonesian smartphone running Android 14

A smartphone called Vivo Y03 has appeared in Indonesia. Simple, modest, cheap. But on Android 14.

Protection against water and dust is also claimed, but the class is only IP54, i.e. defense has nothing to do with it. You cannot immerse your smartphone in liquid.

But, it seems, you can try to scratch. Like a durable coating. I don't know, I wouldn't experiment.

The chipset is not very powerful, MediaTek Helio G85 (~270K in AnTuTu). Not enough RAM - only 4 GB. Permanent memory – 64 or 128 GB, things are better here. Memory cards are supported.

A simple screen with a waterdrop notch. Diagonal 6.56″ (103 cm²), resolution 720×1612 (269 ppi). But the refresh rate is slightly increased – up to 90 Hz.

The cameras are symbolic. 5 MP front, 13 MP plus rear plug.

There is no NFC module, or even a fingerprint scanner.

But the price is good. At the start of sales, Vivo Y03 will cost 1,299,000 (₽7,520, $83) and 1,499,000 (₽8,680, $95.7) Indonesian rupees for the 4+64 and 4+128 GB versions, respectively.
