Russia in October decreased by 62.8% compared to last year's sales results. Sales of some car brands fell by more than 90%. Thus, the reduction in sales of Volkswagen cars was 100%, Volvo - 99%, Lexus - 99%, while Land Rover, Toyota and Mitsubishi had a 98% drop. The decline in Porsche sales reached 96%. Since the beginning of this year, 502.5 thousand new cars have been sold on the Russian market, which is 60.8% lower than in the same period a year earlier. The LCV market shrank by 59.8% with 52.8 thousand units sold. It is noted that the reduction also affected the sales of light commercial vehicles of the GAZ brand, they decreased by 35%. In total, light commercial vehicles accounted for 10.4% of total new vehicle sales this year.
