Announcement. Doogee R08 – tablet-armored car with a fingerprint scanner

Doogee has released its next rugged tablet, Doogee R08.

In fact, everything would be fine. But why was it necessary to save so much on the screen? With a standard diagonal of 10.1″ (296 cm²), it has a resolution of only 1280×800 (149 ppi). Few, very few.

Iron. MediaTek MT8788 (~250K in AnTuTu). Not a masterpiece, but by the standards of inexpensive devices the performance is tolerable.

My memory is fine. 6 GB of RAM, as much as 256 GB of storage. Memory cards are also supported.

The battery is average, 7680 mAh. Charging is slow, only 10 W.

The cameras are symbolic. 5 MP front, 13 MP rear. The rear module looks double, but it is not reported whether there is anything useful under the second peephole.

Protection. Everything is traditional here. A full set of beautiful abbreviations - IP68, IP69K, MIL-STD-810H. We are not afraid of water; we work in extreme temperatures. Beauty.

There is a standard audio output. No gyroscope. Suddenly there is a fingerprint scanner.

What about the money? In the store on the website the price is now $329 (₽30,300). In my opinion, it's a slight overkill. We are waiting for it to appear in more familiar stores.
