Samsung showed the concept of a smartphone that can be worn on the wrist (4 photos)

At the Samsung Display stand, organized inAs part of the MWC 2024 exhibition, the company showed the concept of an unusual Cling Band smartphone. The design features of its case and flexible OLED screen allow you to wear the device on your wrist like a bracelet.

The manufacturer notes that Cling Band can beUse both as a smartphone and as a smart watch. In unfolded mode, the new product looks like a regular smartphone: there is a screen at the front, a rear panel with the main camera module at the back, and a USB Type-C port and speakers on the bottom edge.

Not only the screen allows the device to bend,but also an accordion-shaped structure on the back panel. So it turns into a kind of smart watch, albeit a very bulky one. Next to the rear camera you can see a heart rate sensor, which will be useless in smartphone mode.

At the moment, the Cling Band is just a concept, and it is unknown whether the company will ever be able to turn it into a real device.
