Amazon may acquire game developer

Amazon may announce an offer to acquire game developer Electronic Arts, as reported by

German and American media.Electronic Arts is the developer behind games such as FIFA, Apex Legends, Madden and many more. Potential interest in its acquisition was also shown by Apple and Disney. The acquisition of Electronic Arts could be interesting for Amazon to use its games to create series based on them, as Netflix did with the successful series The Witcher and Arcane based on video games. Amazon could follow the same path and use the potential of Electronic Arts games to create video content. The Electronic Arts acquisition could be the next landmark video game deal following Microsoft's $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
