Deleted files can be easily returned using the new Microsoft application.


Windows users got the opportunityrecover lost or deleted files using the command line. The new application, released by Microsoft, will provide the ability to recover data even from formatted or damaged disks.

Application called Windows File Recoverycan be downloaded for free from the Microsoft Store. The utility will help to return data lost for various reasons. Using the capabilities of working from the command line, the user will be able to recover files from local hard drives, from removable media, such as memory cards or USB media. Data can be returned from media with the NTFS, FAT, exFAT and ReFS file system.


Using the command line where the user isenters the name of the deleted file and the path to it, you can restore data stored in the following formats: JPEG, PDF, PNG, MPEG, Office files, MP3, MP4, ZIP and others. When restoring, you should also specify the place where you want to put the recovered data.
