Announcement. Vivo X90s is a modest update of the junior flagship

Vivo launched a smartphone in Chinacalled Vivo X90s. Power is top. But, in fact, nothing particularly interesting. Because nothing really new. Minor update of the autumn smartphone Vivo X90 (which is the youngest of the trinity
X90, X90 Pro, X90 Pro+).

The only major change is the replacement of the chipset.
Instead of Dimensity 9200 they put
Dimension 9200+. Both are top flagships, far beyond a million points in AnTuTu. And almost the same. It’s just that the 9200+ has a slightly higher frequency and supports Wi-Fi 7.

Memory. 8 or 12 GB RAM (LPDDR5x). Permanent memory - 256 or 512 GB (UFS4.0). There is no support for memory cards.

Screens. AMOLED-matrix with a diagonal of 6.78″ (111 cm²) with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. And the resolution is tall - 453 ppi (1260 × 2800).

The battery is standard, 4810 mAh. Wired charging is obscenely fast - 120 watts. There is no wireless charging.

The front camera has a resolution of 32 MP.

Rear cameras. More than a decent set.

• 50 MP - the main camera with an excellent, if not the coolest sensor, the Sony IMX866 sensor. OIS is available.
• 12 MP - portrait telephoto on the Sony IMX663 sensor. Not that it's very steep, but a two-fold optical zoom will provide.
• 12 MP wide-angle with Sony IMX663 sensor.

Other. There is support for 5G networks, there is a seventh Wi-Fi, Type-C, an IR blaster, an NFC module. There is no support for our native LTE Band 20. The fingerprint scanner is habitually hidden under the screen.

With protection against water and dust is interesting.The IP64 rating is declared, which means full protection against dust, but only symbolic protection against water (maximum against splashes). As if both of them are not news at all, but for the six and four to coexist in the same device, this is not common.

At the start of sales Vivo X90s will cost
¥3999 (₽46600, $554), ¥4299 (₽50100, $595) and ¥4699 (₽54700, $651)
for versions 8+256, 12+256 and 12+512 GB respectively.
