Warranty periods for Apple devices could be up to two months

According to the information cited by Izvestia, the warranty period for Apple equipment may increase to

two months, which will be the result of refusalcompanies to renew contracts with service centers servicing Apple equipment. Agreements with many service centers are valid until the end of March, Apple does not intend to renew them and plans to create a structure abroad in order to fulfill warranty obligations to Russian consumers. For repairs, Apple equipment is planned to be sent abroad, due to the complexity of logistics, the repair time will be increased. The warranty conditions will only apply to equipment purchased before March last year, and will not apply to products received under the parallel import scheme. Warranty obligations for equipment imported through parallel imports will have to be assumed by the sellers of such equipment.
