So we have lived to the time when shoes are printed on a 3D printer.

Callan Kerner, a tech graduate who previously made a seat out of recycled plastic with Matt Antes, embarked on new experiments.

This time he made Sudio Runners out ofmonomaterial, which can be completely recycled. The shoes are made in an extremely interesting design, while he created the shape itself in the virtual space of the Gravity Sketch program.

Gravity Sketch is a 3D design platformwhich you alone or together with friends, being in virtual reality helmets, make a model of a future object, be it a car, a building, a toy or something else.

The made model of sneakers after "sculpting" was printed on a 3D printer. By the way, despite the development of printing technologies, printers are rarely used to create shoes.

"Sudio Runners" are made of plastic, flexible and lightweight material, and due to custom orders for measurements, the legs fit perfectly.

It is worth noting the futuristic shape of the shoe, which is almost impossible to make using conventional factory tools.

It's hard to say if shoe manufacturers will look at printers from a different angle after this, but Kerner did his best to popularize this method.
