Google Pixel Fold may be heavier than Samsung Galaxy Fold 4

Google's first foldable smartphone could be released this year. According to the portal 9to5Google with reference to

own sources, the first Pixel Fold willa fairly heavy device, but will have the largest battery of any foldable device to date. The exact battery capacity is currently unknown, but it will exceed the capacity of competitors: Z Fold 4 with 4400 mAh and Oppo Find N2 with 4520 mAh - but will not exceed 5000 mAh.

The battery life of foldable devices so farso far has been insufficient, and the thinner designs needed to make these devices practical often require compromises with battery capacity. As Google aims for a bigger battery, this could be a significant difference from other foldable notebooks. However, performance differences between the Google Tensor G2 and Snapdragon chips other brands use could make this advantage moot, 9to5Google adds.
