Budget models Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C from Xiaomi

Xiaomi products are always differentaffordable prices. All the more interesting is the information from an insider Sudhanshu who announced the withdrawal in the near future of the budget version of Redmi smartphones as part of the Redmi 9 model range. The user revealed some technical data for future low-cost smartphones Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C.

"Flagship" budget line smartphone Redmi 9,the price of which will be from 160 to 180 euros, will receive a Full HD + IPS screen (2400 × 1080) with a diagonal of 6.53 inches. The hardware of the smartphone will run on an 8-core MediaTek Helio G70 processor. The amount of RAM is 4 GB, and the permanent memory is 64 GB.

Autonomous work will provide rechargeable5000 mAh battery. The budget version does not provide outstanding photo opportunities. Front camera with 5 megapixel sensor. The main camera receives four sensors with a resolution of 13; 8; 5 and 2 megapixels. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is saved and the USB Type-C connector appears.

The Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C models will be almost identical, except for the amount of internal memory and the number of sensors in the main camera.

Both smartphones will be launched with IPSscreen with a diagonal of 6.53 inches, but the resolution will be reduced to HD + (1600 × 720). The hardware of smartphones runs on MediaTek Helio G25. The amount of RAM will be 3 GB. The permanent memory of the Redmi 9A model will be only 32 GB, in the case of Redmi 9C the volume will be increased to 64 GB. All three models will be able to expand the amount of permanent memory up to 512 GB using the microSD slot.

Battery life in both smartphones is provided by a 5000 mAh battery. Like the base smartphone, these devices have a USB Type-C connector and a 3.5 mm headphone port.

Photo capabilities of smartphones are limited. This is a front camera with a 5 megapixel sensor for both models. The main camera in Redmi 9A has only one 13MP sensor. In the Redmi 9C model, the main camera with two sensors: 13 megapixels and 2 megapixels.

Sudhanshu himself later claimed a “small mistake” intheir information. The Redmi 9C model will use the MediaTek Helio G35 chip with the Mali-G31 GPU instead of the announced MediaTek Helio G25 chip. Also, the smartphone will be released in two versions, one of which will have an NFC module and three cameras (13; 5 and 2 megapixels).

The price of the model Redmi 9A will be 100-120 euros, and Redmi 9C - 130 - 150 euros. The presentation date of the budget Redmi 9 is still unknown.
