Drone DJI Mini 3 Pro - got an improved camera and obstacle detection system (5 photos + video)

DJI has announced the Mini 3 Pro, the latestrepresentative of the Mini series of drones, which weighs 249 g. This means that there is no need to register it with the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and with regulatory authorities in a number of countries, and also that the drone is safe in case of an emergency drop due to its low weight.

Mini 3 Pro can be folded like other modelsDJI, which allows you to take it with you on a trip, packing it into a small bag. DJI reported that the Mini 3 Pro received design improvements with improved propeller adjustment to improve aerodynamics, resulting in longer flight times.

The Mini 3 Pro also received features that were previouslywere available on the more expensive DJI Mavic and Air models. Compared to its predecessor, the Mini 2, it has improved flight performance, an improved camera, longer flight times and improved AI capabilities.

The Mini 3 Pro is the first drone in the Mini series thathas a three-way obstacle detection system using sensors in the front, rear and bottom of the body. Using sensors, the Advanced Pilot Assistance System 4.0 determines safer ways to avoid obstacles during flight, while MasterShots allows you to select an object that the drone’s camera will keep in the center of the frame during flight. The FocusTrack feature offers three smart object tracking modes including ActiveTrack 4.0, Point of Interest (POI) 3.0 and Spotlight 2.0. In turn, the QuickShot function allows you to shoot selfie videos in Dronie, Helix, Rocket, Circle, Boomerang and Asteroid modes.

The drone's camera is equipped with a 1/1.3-inchCMOS sensor with f/1.7 aperture and allows you to take photos with a maximum size of 48 megapixels and shoot 4K video at 60 fps and 4K HDR video at 30 fps. It also provides 2x digital zoom at 4K resolution, 3x at 2.7K resolution, and 4x at Full HD resolution.

Advanced suspension providesthe ability to rotate the camera module 90º, which allows you to shoot and transfer vertical video directly from the drone to your mobile device without the need to "crop" for publication on social networks.

Drone autonomous flight durationis 34 minutes, which is 3 minutes more than its predecessor. The user can purchase an oversized Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, but in this case the weight of the drone will exceed 250g and in the US it will have to be registered with the FAA.

The Mini 3 Pro without controller will cost $669. With the DJI RC remote control with a 5.5-inch touch screen and support for the DJI Fly app, the drone will cost $909, with the DJI RC-N1 remote control - $759.
