Announcement. ZTE Anshin Family – “debut smartphone” for little Japanese

A description of a smartphone called ZTE あんしんファミリ has appeared on the Japanese ZTE website. Those. ZTE Anshin Family. (This is a transliteration from ZTE themselves, I didn’t try to invent anything here).

(The word あんしん, i.e. this same “Anshin”, judging by the dictionaries, is translated into Russian as “Peace of Spirit”).

In fact, the smartphone is quite mature.And big. Why debut, why are there kids in the pictures? Everything is software. One of the main features is the ability of a smartphone to send messages to parents when their child pays for transport fare using the phone. Plus the ability to record telephone conversations, plus something else...

To the characteristics.

The screen is modern and large. OLED matrix with a diagonal of 6.7″ (108 cm²) and a resolution of 1080×2400 (393 ppi). There is no increased refresh rate.

Why isn't there a higher refresh rate? Because the hardware is ancient, MediaTek Dimensity 700 (~400K in AnTuTu). But there is support for 5G networks - this chipset can do it.

Little RAM - only 4 GB. ROM – 128 GB, memory cards supported.

There are a lot of cameras, but... 8 MP in front, 50+2+2 MP in back.

The battery is not particularly impressive, only 4420 mAh.

There is an NFC module. Traditionally, Japan has full protection against water and dust - IP67. The fingerprint scanner is hidden under the screen.

Another fun thing to note is the notification indicator - a ring around one of the cameras. (I've already seen something like this somewhere).

There is no word yet on how much the ZTE Anshin Family will cost.
