Announcement. Ulefone Note 17 Pro is a good middle-class smartphone with a highly rounded screen

All previous Note series smartphones from Ulefone were quite low-power. Approximately from “nightmare-nightmare” to “alright with beer.” But something went wrong.
The new Ulefone Note 17 Pro is a quite solid smartphone.

The screen is suddenly AMOLED, and even coveredglass Gorilla Glass 5. It is rounded, however, very much - not for everyone, to put it mildly. Refresh rate – up to 120 Hz. Not LTPO, but still good. The screen is large, 6.78″ (111 cm²). Standard good resolution is 1080x2400 (388 ppi).

Iron.The well-known MediaTek Helio G99 (~450K in AnTuTu). Lots of memory. 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage. At first I was a little worried - is it real 12 GB or as usual? But no, they are real. “As usual”, 24 GB is shown here, but they are not trying to hide the amount of real memory under the rug. Memory cards don't seem to be supported.

The battery is standard, 5050 mAh. Charging is slightly accelerated - 33 W.

Cameras. 32 MP front, 108+5 MP rear.5 MP is a macro camera. (It would be better, of course, to install a wide-angle one). The main camera sensor is Samsung ISOCELL HM2. Not the most recent, 2020. But quite large – 1/1.52″.

There is an NFC module, a gyroscope, a standard audio output and even an IR blaster. Under-screen fingerprint scanner.

What about the money is not very clear. The page on AliExpress has already been created. But the price listed there now, $399.98 (₽37,100), still seems a bit high to me. We are waiting for the official start of sales.
