Today in China were officially and in allRealme Q5 and Realme Q5 Pro smartphones are presented in details. The devices are completely different, why they were combined into one series is not very clear. So it's better to make a separate news for each of them. This news is about Realme Q5 Pro. Realme Q5 Pro is very similar both externally andinternally to the Realme GT Neo2 smartphone announced last fall. I see only two significant differences. Other colors. And different charging speed. For Realme Q5 Pro, it is higher - as much as 80 W against “only” 65 W for GT Neo2.

Well, the checkerboard design seems to be something new. Too bad there aren't enough cells. A full chessboard does not fit.

About the characteristics.

The chipset is almost the most powerful, QualcommSnapdragon 870, so in AnTuTu the smartphone will show around seven hundred thousand points. 6 or 8 GB of RAM (up to 12 GB for Neo2), 128 or 256 GB of permanent memory. Support for memory cards is not observed.

The battery is typical, the battery is capacious - 5000 mAh(more precisely, two batteries of 2500 mAh). Ultra-fast charging 80 W (33 minutes from zero to one hundred percent versus 36 minutes for Neo2 - the difference, of course, is fundamental).

Samsung E4 AMOLED screen. Not small, 6.62″ (106 cm²). Standard high resolution 1080×2400 (398 ppi). Ultra-high refresh rate, up to 120Hz.

The camera block is elegantly designed, but the cameras themselvespretty simple. 64 + 8 + 2 MP - main module, wide-angle, macro. There is no talk of telephoto cameras or serious stabilization systems. The front camera is also unlikely to be outstanding. 16 MP. The Neo2 has a Sony IMX682 sensor in the main camera. Here, most likely, the same, but officially we do not know.

There is Type-C, the sixth Wi-Fi. The fingerprint scanner is built into the screen. Apparently, there is no NFC module (Neo2 has it).

Realme Q5 Pro will cost ¥1899 (₽23500, $297), ¥2099 (₽25900, $328) and ¥2299 (₽28400, $360) at the start of sales for versions 6+128, 8+128 and 8+256 GB, respectively.
