Amazon begins testing Zoox robot taxis on public roads

Amazon has begun testing the Zoox robot taxi on public roads. Amazon is working on

bring commercial operation closerrobotic transport. Fully automatic vehicles were tested between two company offices in Foster City, California. Testing took place as part of a free delivery service project for employees. The company transports its employees as passengers between Zoox offices. Amazon is working to secure the necessary regulatory approvals to resolve regulatory issues to bring fully autonomous vehicles closer to commercial life. Zoox vehicles are L5 level self-driving vehicles.
