Onyx BOOX presented a new reader Leaf2

The Onyx BOOX Leaf2 7-inch E-INK Reader has been launched in the US market for $199.99, according to Gizmochina.

The novelty is available in two colors - black and white.It is noteworthy that the white model lacks the frosted glass protection above the display. As a result, this version weighs 15 grams less than the black one. Both readers have 7-inch E Ink Carta displays with a resolution of 1680 by 1264 pixels.

Leaf2 gets 32GB eMMC flash, 2GBLPDDR4X RAM and Android 11 operating system out of the box. The Onyx BOOX is equipped with a Micro SD card reader, a 2000 mAh battery providing up to 26 days of battery life, a Qualcomm processor and Bluetooth 5.0. Both models are equipped with a USB Type-C port, microphones, speakers, and an accelerometer to support auto-rotation. The device is available in the US and Chinese markets. In the US, the reader costs less than in China: 199.99 US dollars versus 1,580 yuan (225 US dollars).
