Huawei without Google services: what will happen to the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro

US government relationship history andHuawei has entered the next round of the spiral. At the end of June, it seemed, the tension was going down, and if not all sanctions would be lifted from Huawei, then at least part of them, which would allow the company to continue producing smartphones running the Android operating system with Google services.

Alas, the expectations were not destined to come true. The miracle did not happen, the delay in banning the use of the Android license ended on August 19 and was not renewed. The new Huawei smartphones - and which smartphones, the advanced Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro that will be presented on September 19, as well as the Mate X expected in the second half of the fall - will be released without the Play Store and other Google applications on board. They will not have Chrome, Gmail, YouTube and Google Maps.

However, this does not mean that those accustomed toAndroid users will have to abandon Huawei completely. Android 10 will be installed on the new flagships, since its use cannot be prohibited, it is distributed as part of the Android Open Source Project. Services, as necessary, says Huawei, the user will be able to add himself. Some lovers of self-tuning, this prospect even pleased - less messing around, demolishing unnecessary.

At the same time, Huawei continues to work onHarmony OS itself (also known as Hongmeng). According to the executive director of the company, the first smartphone under its control may well be the Huawei P40.
