According to the results of sales for the period from January to October 2022, 34% more were sold in Russia

electric vehicles than last year.In total, 2,090 new electric vehicles were sold on the Russian market, according to the Avtostat analytical agency. The most popular model in our market was Tesla Model Y, it accounted for 17.5% of the total sales of this type of car. In total, 82 models of cars from 43 brands were sold in Russia this year, which significantly exceeded the results of last year, when 41 models from 24 brands were put on the market. The growth in sales of electric cars is observed against the backdrop of a massive drop in sales of traditional cars, of which 502.5 thousand units were sold this year, and the decline in sales amounted to 60.8%.
