DJI Cinema Camera Announced Two Years AgoThe Ronin 4D-8K is finally on sale. In fact, this is a set of two devices - a Zenmuse X9-8K camera and a 4-axis stabilizer. In addition, the new product has a lidar for fast focusing in any lighting and several other features that will be useful for professional photography.


DJI Ronin 4D 8K gimbal frame completedmade of aluminum-magnesium alloy, and the Z-axis arm is made of carbon fiber. Thanks to this combination of materials, the design weighs only 4.67 kg, which is very light for professional devices of this type. The full-frame Zenmuse X9-8K camera with video support 8K @ 60 fps and 4K @ 120 fps is responsible for the shooting capabilities.


The new product also received technology supportdual native ISO from EI 320/1600 to EI 800/4000. The matrix applies different ISO values ​​for shadows and highlights of the image, which significantly reduces the amount of noise and increases dynamic range. In addition, compatibility with Leica, Sony, ARRI mounts is declared, and the camera itself supports the ACES color coding system.

The DJI Ronin 4D-8K kit consists ofstabilizer, Zenmuse X9-8K camera, DJI DL PZ 17-28 mm lens and DJI PROSSD 1 TB drive. In the US market it costs $12,838. The camera can also be purchased separately - it will cost $3,599.
