Chrome, Safari and Edge browsers may stop opening Russian sites with domestic certificates

security.According to Izvestia, developers can revoke certificates, which will lead to blocking the opening of domestic sites. An example of such actions is described based on the experience of Kazakhstan, when users were required to install national certificates, and then the Chrome, Mozilla and Safari browsers made the national certificate revoked, which ultimately led the national authorities to abandon the further implementation of the local certificate. Experts believe that despite the presence of such a technical possibility on the part of browser owners, users have alternative solutions in the form of using other browsers, such as Yandex.Browser, Opera, Brave and others. The Ministry of Digital Development recommends using browsers that support Russian security certificates to work with Russian sites.
