There is, however, a small catch. The new smartphone is no different at all from the two old ones - from the LeTV Y2 Pro and LeTV X1 Pro models, which went on sale there in China in the summer of 2022.

The whole trio runs on an incomprehensible version of Android with a shell called LeOS 11.0. Google services are not visible. Instead, HMS (Huawei Mobile Services).

The chipset is the old Unisoc Tiger T610 (~200K in AnTuTu).

Not enough RAM, but enough permanent memory. There will be 4+128 GB and 6+256 GB varieties on sale.

(LeTV Y2 Pro additionally has a 4+32 GB version. And LeTV X1 Pro is sold only in the 4+128 GB version).

The screen is ancient. Just look at that cutout! Diagonal 6.5″ (104 cm²), resolution 720×1560 (264 ppi).

The battery is small by modern standards, 4100 mAh. There is clearly no accelerated charging.

Cameras. 5 MP on the front, 13 MP plus a pair of pieces of glass on the back.

There is a fingerprint scanner, but no NFC module.

At the start of sales, LeTV G2 Pro will cost ¥599 (₽7590, $82.2) and ¥699 (₽8860, $95.9) for versions 4+128 and 6+256 GB, respectively.
