Announcement. Alcatel 1V (2021) - a simple Android Go smartphone with a capacious battery

Alcatel has announced a smartphone called Alcatel 1V (2021). (If I understand correctly, there is not the Roman number 4 in the name, but the Arabic number one and the Latin letter V).

Why, at the end of the second month of 2022, to release a smartphone with the last year in the name is, of course, a mystery ... Well, yes, the owner is a gentleman.

Alcatel 1V (2021) announced “globally”. In which countries it will be sold - I do not know. And he also has an exact twin TCL 305 (for sure sold in Italy; possibly somewhere else).

The smartphone is quite simple.Quad-core chipset MediaTek Helio A22, so AnTuTu and a hundred thousand points will not be. 2 GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB of storage. Memory is frankly not enough, so Android is defective, only Go Edition.

Here is a great battery. Already 5000 mAh. But without fast charging, of course. The screen is simple. It has a diagonal of 6.52″. Resolution 720×1600 (269 ppi).

The rear camera is triple, 13 + 2 + 2 MP. Plus, the front camera has a resolution of 5 MP.

Of the pleasant - the presence of Type-C and a fingerprint scanner (on the back). Of the less pleasant - single-band Wi-Fi.

There is no cost information yet. But if a twin costs €110 (₽9610, $125) in their Italy, then the price here, in theory, should be similar.
