Scientists have revealed the landing site of the Russian station "Luna-27"

The automatic interplanetary station "Luna-27" will land on the surface of the Moon a little to the south than the other spacecraft of the mission - "Luna-25".

This became known from a recent scientific report published by the Russian Institute for Space Research, dedicated to clarifying such information.

Luna 27 is expected to land at latitudes south of 80 degrees south latitude, closer to the Moon's South Pole than Luna 25. She, recall, will descend about 70 degrees south latitude.

On the eve it became known that the Luna-25 mission inwas postponed once again - from July to August 2023. At the same time, back in May, the government disclosed information that the implementation of the Luna-26 (orbital) and Luna-27 (landing) missions would begin as early as 2027-2028.
