In Russia, developed a robot for indirect heart massage

Ruselectronics holding, which is part of the state corporation Rostec, presented the first domestic robot capable of performing chest compressions during cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

The device, called CardioRobot, is equipped with sensors that allow you to adjust the pressure and depth of compression depending on the patient's vital signs.

Unlike a person who can perform a quality heart massage in just a few minutes, the CardioRobot can last up to 45 minutes. And then, only because of the limitations of the battery capacity.

This device significantly increases the chances of survival of critically ill patients and reduces the burden on medical staff.

It is reported that to date, hospitals andambulances require about 9 thousand such devices for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. CardioRobot is the answer to this need. Serial production of new items is scheduled for 2025.
