Announcement. UMIDIGI A15 and UMIDIGI A15C are modern budget smartphones

UMIDIGI has announced a couple of inexpensive smartphones with a lot of memory -
UMIDIGI A15 and
UMIDIGI A15C.

The devices are identical externally and close in content. Although there are still differences. A15C will be weaker.

Iron. Unisoc T606 for A15C and Unisoc T616 for A15.T616 is a little more cheerful, its frequencies are higher. But what is there, what are we waiting for in the region of 270K in AnTuTu10. Not a nightmare, not a fountain. But for inexpensive smartphones without pretensions - just right.

Memory. 8 + 128 GB for the youngest and 8 + 256 GB for the older smartphone. Support for memory cards is available.

The screens are assigned the role of weak links. Standard size, 6.7″ (106 cm²). But the resolution is low, only 269 ppi (720 × 1650). There is no increased refresh rate.

Batteries are usually good - 5000 mAh. Charging is not very fast. 20 W for UMIDIGI A15 and 10 W for the younger device.

Cameras. The quantity is the same, the quality is different. In front, 8 MP for the younger smartphone and 16 MP for the older one. Behind, respectively, 48 + 8 + 2 MP and 64 + 8 + 2 MP.

Both devices have NFC modules and fingerprint scanners. There is Type-C, and support for dual-band Wi-Fi.

About money.The page of smartphones has already appeared on AliExpress, but when you transfer it to the Russian site, for some reason, an error is generated stating that it does not exist. Taking into account the twenty-dollar coupon from the store, the current price is $149.99 (₽15000) for the older device and $139.99 (₽14000) for the younger one. A bit pricey, in my opinion.
