Announcement. Tecno Pova 5 is a mid-ranger with a curious design and a good battery

Tecno seems to have finally announced a smartphone called Tecno Pova 5. Something is not yet visible on the official website, but all the essential information can already be collected piece by piece.

The design is curious. Judging by the available official pictures and videos, the guys were clearly inspired by some well-known robot in narrow circles ...

Iron stuffing is quite ordinary. Chipset MediaTek Helio G99 (~400K in AnTuTu10). 8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of permanent memory. Memory cards are supported.

Screen. Here they promise a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The size is rather big, 6.78″ (109 cm²). The resolution is high - 396 ppi (1080 × 2460).

High capacity battery - 6000 mAh. Cheerful fast charging - 45 watts.

The set of cameras is simple. 8 MP in the front, 50 MP plus something small in the back.

Fingerprint scanner, I suspect locatedon the side. The NFC module is mentioned in places. So, most likely, we will have it in Russia. There is support for LTE networks, dual-band Wi-Fi, Type-C. Separately, the presence of the correct full-fledged gyroscope is emphasized.

I don't see any official pricing information. Mobiltelefon is talking about ₽17,999 ($210) and ₽19,999 ($234) for the 8+128 and 8+256GB versions, respectively.

Simultaneously with the simple Tecno Pova 5, its special version was announced
Tecno Pova 5 Free Fire for fans of the Free Fire toy.
