Announcement. OPPO A32 on Snapdragon 460 for China

A moderately inexpensive smartphone is presented in ChinaOPPO A32. By and large, this is almost an exact copy of the OPPO A53 smartphone sold in India / Indonesia and some other countries. The main difference between the Chinese is a weaker front camera. The colors are slightly different, other variations in the amount of memory. But on this, as it were, the differences end.

Price at the start of sales - ¥ 1199 (₽13300, $ 175) perversion 4 + 128 GB and ¥ 1499 (₽16,700, $ 219) for 8 + 128 GB. The only interesting A32 is that it is one of the world's first smartphones based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset. And the first was just OPPO A53.

Snapdragon 460 is the heir to the chipsetSnapdragon 450, 2017, about 90,000 AnTuTu points - at that time a very decent chipset, solid budget or even lower average. In terms of characteristics, the Snapdragon 460 is very similar to last year's Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 - the same GPU, similar, but slightly weaker cores, well, etc.

Snapdragon 460, like Snapdragon 450, toofocused on fairly inexpensive devices. There are still few statistics on AnTuTu. Roughly around 140,000 points, plus or minus. Not impressive, to be honest. Obviously, not by parrots alone. But immediately the suspicion begins to arise that the price of a smartphone is slightly overpriced.

I have already mentioned memory. 4 or GB of operational LPDDR4X, 128 GB of permanent UFS 2.1. Memory card support is not mentioned, but by analogy with the OPPO A53 it should be here.

Screen. Large, with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, but the resolution is not high. 6.5 ″, IPS-matrix with a hole for the front camera, 720 × 1600 pixels (270 ppi).

The battery is fine, the battery is large. 5000 mAh, and even with 18W fast charging.

For cameras, as usual, you need to wait for the first reviews. But the megapixel count is suspiciously low. Just 8MP front, 13 + 2 + 2MP rear. So I suspect the cameras are pretty basic.

No NFC support, USB Type-C. Wi-Fi dual band

There is no information about the possibility of the appearance of OPPO A32 outside of China.
