The pre-order for the second-generation Yandex.Station smart speaker has started. Its key features are support for the Zigbee protocol, enhanced audio capabilities and a new design.

To the new "Station" you can connect a variety ofdevices, from smart bulbs to sensors. This is the first Yandex smart column with support for the Zigbee protocol. It does not require large energy consumption and allows you to exchange data directly even without the Internet. You can control devices or connect them to the speaker simply by voice. For example, in order for the "Station" to detect a sensor, it is enough to say: "Alice, find the sensor."

The set of smart devices Aqara, which are sold together with the column as an option, includes a smart bulb, a button and motion, light, temperature and humidity sensors.

Two new products are responsible for the sound qualitybroadband speakers with a total power of 30 W and a special acoustic grille designed specifically for the new speakers. It has an aperiodic structure, due to which the sound passing through it is almost not distorted. In addition, the Yandex column for the first time began to support room correction technology - it significantly reduces sound distortion associated with room acoustics.

The new column resembles the shape of the first modelseries, but has a slimmer silhouette. Alice's ring, which became her symbol, has evolved and turned into a luminous LED panel - it shimmers, reflecting the pattern of music or highlighting the weather forecast. And if you turn on the track and tell Alice: “I like it”, she will show a heart in response.

The pre-order for the new Yandex.Station has already started.The novelty will go on sale on May 31 at a price of 16,990 rubles for one speaker or 18,990 rubles for a set with four Aqara smart devices. It can be purchased together with the Plus Multi subscription and paid for in equal installments over 12 or 36 months.
