The WhatsApp team is working on a new useful feature - protection against spam calls. So, users of the application will be given the opportunity not to allow incoming calls from unknown numbers.
A new switch "Disable unknown callers" will appear in the messenger settings. Nothing will change on the part of the callers as they will hear the same ringtone.
The option is currently undergoing internal testing and is not yet available to WhatsApp beta testers. When the function will be opened to all users is not yet clear.
