Announcement. Realme C51s – a large inexpensive smartphone

A smartphone called Realme C51s has gone on sale in Indonesia.

Nothing fundamentally new.It is very similar to last year’s smartphone Realme C51, which is actively sold here in Russia. Slightly different appearance, slightly less thickness. The NFC module has disappeared. Increased the amount of RAM. No other differences are visible.

Chipset – Unisoc T612 – a modest exclusive for Realme (~250K in AnTuTu).

The amount of memory, by the standards of inexpensive smartphones, is quite reasonable - 6+128 GB (the ancestor has two varieties - 4+64 and 4+128 GB). Memory cards are supported.

The screen is large, 6.74″ (110 cm²). The resolution is low, only 720x1600 (260 ppi). But the refresh rate is slightly increased – 90 Hz.

The battery is standard, 5000 mAh. The charging speed seems to be 33 W, but the included charger is not fast, only 10 W.

With cameras everything is extremely simple. 5 MP front, 50 MP plus rear plug. The main camera sensor is not named, but we believe in the Samsung ISOCELL JN1.

There is a fingerprint scanner and a standard audio output, but there is no gyroscope.

At the start of sales, Realme C51s will cost 1,799,000 Indonesian rupees (₽10,600, $115).
