Announcement. Motorola Moto G22 is an inexpensive smartphone for Europe

Motorola has introduced a new entry-level smartphone Moto G22 for European markets (including Russia). Let's get acquainted.

Moto G22 is very similar to the one announced in November inFar Abroad smartphone Moto G Power (2022), only the American does not have a wide-angle camera and an NFC module, a slightly different appearance, and even charging a little slower.

Chipset MediaTek Helio G37, which is stillthere aren't really any statistics. But the eight weak Cortex-A53 cores and the extreme similarity in all characteristics to the MediaTek Helio G35 hint that the smartphone will only score a little over one hundred thousand points in AnTuTu. By today's standards, very little.

Memory. Modest 4 GB of RAM.Permanent memory, apparently, can be 64 or 128 GB. Memory cards are supported. Different versions will be sold in different countries. In Russia, we are waiting for 4 + 128 GB in Iceberg Blue and Cosmic Black colors.

Pearl White and Mint Green colors, as well as the 4 + 64 GB version, are not yet planned to be delivered to us.

The screen has a diagonal of 6.5″ (area 102 cm²). The resolution is small, only 720×1600 (270 ppi). But the refresh rate is slightly increased - 90 Hz.

The battery is capacious, but in moderation - 5000 mAh. Charging speed 15W (versus 10W for the American relative).

The set of cameras is modest.The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP. Behind the quartet 50 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP - the main camera, wide-angle, macro, depth sensor. The brand of the main sensor is not named, but judging by the pixel size, this is the smallest of the fifty-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1.

There is an NFC module. There is also a fingerprint scanner (on the side), dual-band Wi-Fi, Type-C.

Information about the cost is not yet visible.
