ZTE Axon 30 Ultra smartphone received three 64 megapixel sensors at once (3 photos)

ZTE has unveiled new smartphones called Axon 30 Pro and Axon 30 Ultra, the latter of which is named by the developers as the device with the "best camera of 2021".

Unique main quad camera Axon 30 Ultraequipped with three sensors with a resolution of 64 megapixels at once. The main Sony IMX686 sensor has an f / 1.6 aperture lens with OIS. The second camera gets a sensor with an aperture of f / 1.9 and the third 64 megapixel is equipped with wide-angle optics. The fourth camera with a periscope lens provides a 5x optical zoom and receives a sensor with a resolution of 8 megapixels.

Axon 30 Ultra cameras get the opportunity toperform video recording in 8K resolution at 30 fps. The front camera is installed in a round hole that is standard for modern smartphones, which is a step back for the company that previously launched the Axon 20 5G model in which the selfie camera was placed under the screen.

Axon 30 Ultra smartphone gets an OLED display with6.67 inches diagonal, 144 Hz refresh rate support. The hardware is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 888 chip with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 persistent memory. Configurable with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

Autonomous operation is supported by the battery4600 mAh with support for 66W charging. Wireless charging is not available. The smartphone supports communication in 5G networks, Wi-Fi 6E and provides full-featured NFC. The device runs MyOS 11 (based on Android 11). In China, the base model Axon 30 Ultra retails for the equivalent of $ 720.

A simplified modification of the Axon 30 Pro gets everythingtwo 64 megapixel cameras, 5 megapixel macro camera and 2 megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch OLED display with support for 120Hz screen refresh. The base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will be priced at $ 460.
