Significant changes await music lovers,having smartphones running Android. New smartphones running Android 9 and all smartphones running Android 10 will have a pre-installed YouTube Music app. This was officially announced by Google. Streaming music will be available to all owners of smartphones immediately after the first turn on of the device.
Until now, Google supplied Android with the Google Play Music app pre-installed, and YouTube Music had to be downloaded from the Google Play app store.
Now for the latest smartphones and devices underAndroid 10 users initially get YouTube Music, and the Google Play Music application will need to be swapped from the store. This innovation is in line with Google’s policy that announced the upcoming complete change of Google Play Music to YouTube Music, for which two years ago the teams of both divisions were merged into one.
