Maps from the Yandex company will receive a significant update, thanks to which images of buildings,

roads, underpasses and other facilities onmap will become close to real. The appearance of many objects on the map will be close to the real one in shape and color, which will greatly simplify the orientation of the terrain for pedestrians. It is stated that all changes on Yandex Maps will be made gradually, the first updates will affect roads. The outlines of the roads will come closer to real ones, lane markings and safety islands will appear, complex interchanges will turn into a three-dimensional format. It is said that key Moscow highways will receive a facelift as early as next week. Other updates will come later, such as windows and roofs on buildings, making them easier to recognize. The maps will also show stops and entrances to underground passages in detail.
