Yandex and Google platforms for distance learning created

Yandex and Google offer special platforms that allow for distance learning using smartphones or computers.

Application “Yandex.School ”was developed in partnership with the Center for Pedagogical Excellence, is free and designed for students of all classes. A remote school works in full-time mode. The platform has lessons in 15 disciplines, and for graduates there are additional video lessons for preparing for the exam and exam.

The developers did not forget about the teachers whoIt offers a special platform for broadcasting video lessons and subsequent verification of homework in automatic mode. The Yandex.School application will involve over one hundred highly qualified teachers, authors of textbooks and methodological literature, organizers of subject Olympiads, and exam experts. Lessons are created around the clock, and the work of Yandex.Schools began on March 31. The work schedule of the remote school is tied to Moscow time, however, from April 6, regional time will also be introduced.


A similar project was implemented by Google,opened the platform "Learning from home", which provides distance learning and mutual communication of teachers and students. According to Google developers, the main aspect of online learning is communication between teachers, students and their parents. The application uses functions that allow you to always stay in touch.

Google app will help teacherscreate individual sites with your subject, on which you can put the schedule, special teaching aids and a list of recommended literature. It also offers a virtual whiteboard function and the ability to conduct remote knowledge testing of students.
