Xiaomi showed a new version of the smart door lock. This time with FaceID

The Chinese company Xiaomi has introduced a new version of its smart door lock, adding a face recognition option - Face Recognition Smart Door Lock.

The device received a sensor similar to Face IDfrom Apple. This allows the lock to recognize faces by creating 3D images of them. It is worth noting that the novelty also allows you to open doors using traditional methods: using a key, a password, as well as a fingerprint or a smartphone application.

Xiaomi promises that the 6250 mAh battery will allow the “smart” door lock to work on a single charge for up to six months.

The start of sales of new items is scheduled for September 28. It will be released for $285 on pre-order, then retail for $315.
