Xiaomi Qin 2 - a budget smartphone with a non-standard screen (5 photos)

Xiaomi decided to release a budgetsmartphone with a non-trivial aspect ratio of 22.5: 9, designed for students. To implement this idea, a crowdfunding company has been launched, which has already raised more than 7 times more funds than is necessary to start production of Xiaomi Qin 2.

The mobile device is equipped with a minimum set offunctions, has a 5.05-inch screen resolution of 1440x576 pixels, and the body is made of lightweight polycarbonate (the weight of the product is only 105 grams). The aspect ratio of 22.5: 9 makes the smartphone very elongated (132.6x55.4x8.6 mm). Even the cinematic 4K screen of Sony's Xperia 1 flagship is shorter. It operates a smartphone based on the Spreadtrum SC9832E chip, 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory.

Xiaomi Qin 2 smartphone is also equipped with infraredport, USB Type-C and 3.5 mm audio jack, 2100 mAh battery, ordinary 5 megapixel main camera. Front module for selfie and fingerprint scanner is missing. On the right side of the body of the body there are buttons: on, volume control and virtual assistant call. The operating system selected Android Go 9.0.

The price of the smartphone Xiaomi Qin 2 is only $ 73. For buyers, black, red, pink and blue body colors are offered. Perhaps, outside of China, the novelty will not receive distribution.
