The Chinese company Xiaomi has announced a projector called Projector 2S, designed for use in home theaters.
The device conforms to the Full HD format, thenYes, provides a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Claimed to be 100% coverage of the Rec.709 color space. Brightness reaches 850 ANSI lumens. The novelty supports omnidirectional automatic correction, whether it is front projection, side projection or ceiling installation. The equipment includes an audio system with two 1.75-inch speakers with a power of 10 watts. The projector has a special game mode with a delay of 40ms. There is an HDMI 2.1 interface, a USB 2.0 port and a standard 3.5 mm audio jack.
The device is made on the Amlogic T982 processor withfour computing cores Cortex-A55, operating at a clock frequency of up to 1.9 GHz. The equipment includes 2 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 16 GB.
The novelty will be offered at an estimated price of $470 as part of a crowdfunding program.
