Xiaomi sub-brand launches anotherbudget smartphone under the brand name Redmi 9, which is becoming available in the global market. The new model has a fairly capacious 5020 mAh battery, four cameras, a processor from MediaTek and an NFC module for contactless payments.

The novelty receives an IPS screen (2340x1080) with a diagonal6.53 inches, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The front-facing camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels is located in the drop-shaped cutout standard for Redmi at the top of the display. The main camera of the smartphone receives four sensors: 13 megapixels (f / 2.2), wide-angle 8 megapixels (f / 2.2, viewing angle 118 °), a 5 megapixel macro camera and a 2 megapixel depth sensor (f / 2.4). The battery supports 18 W fast charging technology, but a 10 W charger is supplied.

Wireless connectivity is provided withUsing Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS, AGPS, Beidou and GLONASS, there is also an NFC module and an infrared port. The smartphone receives USB Type-C connectors and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The weight of the smartphone is 198 grams, and overall dimensions - 163.3 x 77 x 9.1 mm.
